mribbich@wi.rr.com
I have a power booster with a tag on it with the number 2506844. The box it is in is a Delco box and has the numbers 178-73 and 5473609 on it. I don't know if it is in the right box or not. Thanks!!!! 1-262-392-2989 or mribbich@wi.rr.comMarv. haroldstrust
the one number could be a date code. Some of the Delco and Gm parts used a Julian date code - the 178 - 73 would be the 178 day of the year 1973 when the part was made. Just a possiblity

The other two numbers, the one on the box is the service part number and the other number is probably the production part number. The two part numbers are not the same.
