Guest Steamcarnut
I need a flywheel to replace the cracked one in my 1909 Chalmers-Detroit model F. Other 4 cylinder flywheels in the early years (1908-1911?) my also fit it. Might buy other spares for this car, but the flywheel is the urgent need. Thanks. caddyshack
Is your flywheel repairable? Even if it is a casting they can be welded, machined and heat treated. I had one repaired 25 years ago and it worked fine after it was machined and balanced. Unfortunately the company is no longer in business, but maybe others have had some experience with this. Just a thought.Skip in MN
