Can you ID the 1920's car in this photo?

I recently bought a box of old car photo's. Some are marked on the back with the type of car in the photo. This one has Pierce-Arrow written on the back. Is that correct?, Thanks Daryl

The hood louvers in groups of 3 were used on some 29 Pierce Arrows

I would say it's 1927 Pierce Arrow with a winterfront and optional head lights.

Thye owner went to great pains to keep the engine warm, but the poor chauffeur had to sit out in the cold.

I'm pretty sure its a 1928 or earlier model 36 Pierce. The headlights were sometimes referred to as "New York" headlights because New York law would not allow the Pierce signature fender-mounted lights.

It also has a ( Pines WinterFront) atttached to the radiator which gives it a different look.
