Lincoln Zephyr and Lincoln model years

Were the Lincoln Zephyrs manufactured thru 1942? Were the Lincolns produced in

1946 thru 1948 Lincoln Zephyrs or just Lincolns?

Irealize that the Lincoln Continentals referred to as Mark I s were produced from 1940 to 1948.

Can anyone identify this car? I know it's a Lincoln because it is written Lincoln Twelve on the steering wheel. I checked on the internet and couldn't find any Lincoln Twelve models. Any useful information would be appreciated.

Look at EBay #220693918880. Your Lincoln appears to be a 1946-1948 Lincoln V-12 coupe or at least what is left of one.

with the dark horn center I would say it is a 46 2dr coupe. Front cross member drivers side will tell the story Lee

Hi Bruce, the Sept/Oct 2010 The Way of the Zephyr magazine has a few details. There were 6,563 Lincolns built in 1942 by the time production stopped in Feb 1942 for the war. Of that 4,412 were Zephyr Sedans. No breakdown on the remaining that were Customs and Continentals - need the book which I don't have. Paul

Where is this car located? I moght want it for parts or finding out how not to take somthing apart

To 47clubcoup...excuse the delay, the car is located in Quebec, Canada, in a little village called Saint Alexis des Monts. How much do you think I can sell the car or the parts for? I have no idea because I don't know the value of the car.

Rhd Zephys were offered to 1939 [and imported into the UK] and then the V-12 engine was offered for use in a proposed Ford 6x6 Canadian Military Pattern truck as it was available with rhd and offered decent power. In the end the Chevrolet C60X used the GMC 270 six.
