Guest martylum Posted October 15, 2010 Share Posted October 15, 2010 Hi-I just finished doing rust repair on a 53 Buick Roadmaster 70 series floor and used floor pan patch panels made by Ken Mitson for 53 Buicks. I'm not sure if they will fit properly in a 53 40 series but will check with Ken. The panels are spot on and 18 GA steel and all the reinforcement sections lined up with the original floor very nicely on the LH side..I ordered the F & Rear RH side thinking I'd need but ended up making small patches for both floor sections so these patch panels are for sale. These are for a convertible body style and may not fit a 4 door sedan especially in the rear. I think a 2 door hardtop would have the same floor architecture as a convertible.If you are doing a 2 door hardtop or convert, I can send you photos of the floor pans to compare.Marty Lummarty@oldercar.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
