Guest sintid58
I am going to post a few cars I saw at Hershey yesterday. It was wet and cool as you can see by the pictures. Tina wasn't feeling well so she stayed in the truck and I left the umbrella with her in case she wanted to catch up. Of course by the time I found an umbrella to buy I was soaked. I only stayed for 3 or 4 hours and then left so I could get warmed up. They show the Futureliner on the maps but it wasn't there so I was dissapointed about that. I did pick up a mint 1958 Prestige book and of course paid to much but it is gorgeous. The 41 Roadmaster for $14,500 I think was a bargain it was mostly original and looked very nice. Guest sintid58
moreThe last 2 are of the 1941 Chrysler Thunderbolt that was in the car corral for sale I think.
Guest sintid58
I have no idea what this is, if its a new car someone built or an old custom bodied car. There was no sign, phone number or any info on it. I tried to take a picture of the medalion on the side but it didn't turn out very good.
Guest sintid58
Missed some and I have more on our camera, which of course the battery died in so I had to use my phone.
Thriller
Yeah, it is safer for me not to go. I'd have trouble resisting the '63 Baby Buick convertible for that price. Of course, that is based on a quick look at a photo, but still....
Dandy Dave
I saw a beautiful 1985 Riv 2 door coupe with only 40,000 Original miles on it at a little car, tractor, and engine show last weekend in Bethel, CT. (Oct 2cd,3rd) One owner car, always garage kept. You could eat off of the floors. Owner was asking around $7000. If I only had some garage space and a little extra cash... Dandy Dave! michel88
Sintid58: I saw the car that you couldn't identify and it had a description on it today. It's a Stutz with a body built by one of the body builders of the day that built special bodies for other luxury cars. Can't remember the name though. WWS
The black and white 56 was my car that I did a year or 2 ago and sold last year to a fellow from Indiana. All NOS upholstery, very low milage and absolutely zero rust on the car, Drove like new. Edited October 8, 2010 by WWS (see edit history)
JohnD1956
Nice job Mark. Have any closeups of the interior?

WWS
John,I have plenty, but they are too large to post here. Send me your email, and I would be glad to shoot some to you.The car is worth the money, based upon the history. Theres room to negotiate on price. I have owned the car twice now, and dont see the need to own it again, but would not be afraid of anything about the car. John_Maine
The '63 Skylark convert was a nice car and I think a decent price. It had a split on the driver's seat and the top of the back seat showed a little sunburn but all in all it was a great Buick. I happened to be walking by when the owner started it up for a prospective buyer and it sounded great as well. I don't think it sold, though. I walked through the car corral twice each day Weds-Fri and again Satuday morning before I left to come home. I really liked the maroon/black vinyl roof Riviera boattail, but I thought $20K was a little high so I didn't inquire.
Guest BJM
Saw the Books at Hershey - BCA tent. Nice talk with Nancy. Brian showed up, heard pete Phillips was there and stopped in to see Bob Coker. I only had Friday, 8 hours. I started at top of Car Corral. Went over to BCA tent, then Red Field and got about 3/4 through Chocolate when I had to go. Saw about 30% of it. Sorry no photos to add. Sid, wish I knew you were there, Mark L too. Guest BJM
Sid, Pete - anybody - did you see the circa 1985 Buick Regal in 2 tone blue/green in the Car Corral? Wow. I think it was priced around $7000 and I doubted anyone would buy it but what a bargain at, say $5000? It had 15,000 or so original miles, a perfect interior and the paint was unbelievable. John_Maine
That Regal was exceptionally nice. I looked it over several times and if I'd had someone to drive my car home, I would have made an offer on it. As I recall, it had a little over 18K on it. Pete Phillips
I did see that '85 low mileage Regal. Too new to interest me, but compared to prices of other cars that were for sale, it was quite reasonable. The unrestored 1938 Special 4-dr. sedan with 33,000 miles for $12,000 or best offer was also a reasonably priced car.Pete Phillips, BCA #7338
Guest BJM
I recall exactly where that was. $12,000 for an 8 cylinder art deco car, Buick or otherwise, was a good price
