Hi,

It occurs to me that the cretin who stole this car, assuming he's not parting it out, will have to title and plate it to drive it. Your police authority can keep tabs with the 50 states' departments of motor vehicles and check out any new or recent title or plate applications for a 35 Auburn. There can't be many of them, so any that appear are worthy of investigation.

God, I hate thieves! Grrrrr!!

My guess is someone who is thinking "streetrod", took it.

I know some street rodders in the area and will put the word out to watch for it.

Looks like the owner got it back and put it in another open shed all be it now with a badly bent door. Seems now they have finally decided to part with it before it turns to complete junk.

What is one of these worth in this shape?

I think with an opening bid of 5,000 and a reserve he must be looking for atleast 10,000.
