motoringicons
Can anyone identify the year and model of this Indian Motorcycle engine? It is a v-twin, has a Dixie Magneto, Schebler carburetor, pushrod intake and exhaust valves and a number stamped on the crankcase of 75K952. I am thinking it is about 1918 but am not sure. Might be available for sale. Thanks in advance!

bruffsup
looks like a 1918 Powerplus Indian ( WW 1 vintage) in very nice condition. Usually the manifold nuts are mutilated, fins are broken etc. when one finds an engine sans running gear. The carb and magneto make it even better. nice find! motoringicons
It is really nice. Looks like someone coated in is cosmolene many years ago. No breaks, welds or cracks on anything, still has Rentz plugs, etc. The nuts and bolts don't look like they have been wrenched on or removed. Thanks for the ID help!
