headlight question

Can anyone with a DA tell me the size of their headlamp lens, I was told that there were two different sizes between two-lite and depress beam and as far as I know that is incorrect but would like to confirm. size of lens is written in small print on lens upper corner, the lens would have to removed from ring to see the size, I am not looking for approximately. Thanks

Jason, my '29 is a "Twolite Headlamp" and the size is 9 7/16" x 8 1/2".

Thanks BoB mine are also two-lite, will try and find a depress beam, they are more common so should not be hard

Different sizes I guess, wonder who has the correct lens, Bob are your lenses stamped that size?

Jason, yes those are the actual numbers stamped into my lens. Of course, I don't know if maybe it was a replacement lens before I got the car.

If they are the correct headlamps than chances are the lens is correct otherwise the lens would not fit or the it would be too loose, thanks again Bob

1929/30 Dodge DA Headlight lense for Depress beam is H 11471, also marked with the size of 8 1/2 by 9 5/16. Rob in Colorado

Info only Dpress Beam H11471 was also used in Plymouths - 28-Q, 29-U, and 30U.

Depress Beam made a 9 7/16 X 8 1/2 lens number 900-A that may replace your "Twolite" lenses.
