poci1957
I do not think it is from a Ford, nor any GM product.
Guest stude8
It does have a resemblence to what was used in 1957 Studebaker President V8 powered cars on their front fender sides. Can't find a real photograph of one of those cars, the advertising was mostly artist drawn images not very clear graphically.Stude8
Guest stude8
I have located a part number in Studebaker 1957-58 chassis parts catalog that is not illustrated ? but is listed [Pg 481] as item 1601-38 part #1320133WP Ornament, front fender side "Flag V8" for model 57H (1957 President model).Anyone have one on the shelf to exhibit?Stude8
Guest Commodore
Here is a picture of a 1957 Studebaker President. I think. Edited August 18, 2010 by Commodore (see edit history)
Guest stude8
Thankyou Commodore for the photo BUT another report thinks it is 1965 Studebaker Daytona Sport Sedan "C" pillar trim?I looked at 65-66 parts catalog, they show a very small line art illustration (1/8" wide!) on pg 201 of item 2104-9 part #1360151WP used on VF8 models only [Daytona 2 door Sport Sedan with V8] looks like it could be the part.If we only had very close up photos of 1320133 and 1360151 we could confirm either one as correct ID.Hopefully someone will post a detail image for reference.Stude8

Dave Mellor NJ
I just recently took two off the C pillars of a 64-66 Daytona 4dr sedan. they could have been used in all V8 Studebakers since the 50s.
