progoofoff
Looking in 1930-1948 AC specification book, the 152xxxx series have only 7 numbers.Strange number yours having 8.
38Buick 80C
Bob,OK I went and looked at it again. The final number "4" probably was stamped later as it is deeper off alignment and incomplete compared to the rest of the numbers. Which leads to the question why was it stamped? progoofoff
I think we got it. 1523196 is a "F" series pump. The "4" may mean rebuilt. Later years- the end number 2 represented rebuilt.1937 Packard 8 Cyl 1500 series.1938 Packard series 1603, 1604, 1605 Edited July 17, 2010 by progoofoff sp (see edit history)
