Guest Tom Timmins
A high school near my home has a great shop teacher. Last year they built a pretty respectable full scale operating model of the Ford Quadrcycle. They would like to reproduce an early electric roadster during the 2010-11 school year. They really need construction drawings or blueprints. The marque is not as important as the quality of the construction information. Any help will be appreciated. These kids are sharp---they even built some parts used on the space shuttle. Thanks, Tom<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
MochetVelo
He might like to read "Tom Swift and His Electric Runabout". I might suggest they use an existing chassis like a VW Beetle and put an electric drive on that. They could also get a older Taylor-Dunn electric utility vehicle (there are always quite a few on eBay) and base their car on that platformPhil
