Are you maintaining a stock front suspension? If you are not, please don't throw your spring u-bolts away. I need one for a '37! (see my posting regarding '37 Dodge front spring u-bolts)

Steering box, other stuff also desired!

Dave,

My rear body panel is also rusting out. If I remember correctly that pan is made up of 2 pieces of metal sandwiched together and they always trapped moisture inside. This photo doesn't really show the rust bubbles under the paint but they are there. When I strip the several layers of paint (yellow and blue under the tan) off this car for a repaint I'm going to eliminate the inner piece (maybe permanently) so I can get at the rust or if I'm really lucky you'll make 2 and sell me one eh ?

I had some time to work on the 38 tonight.I new it had some frontend damage at one time. The grill was riveted to the shell. On the drivers fender, they riveted sheet metal to the back and bondo the front. No welding.Look at the steering arm.Yes thats a coat hanger!I drove this in high school. There was so much grease ,I never saw it.It all has to be redone anyhow.Stay Tuned

Hey Doug thanks,I saw that guy giving an interview the next day.And a guy from I think Korea put his Suzuki on its roof.He had no interperter with him.No know what he was saying.Looking forward to next year. And on the long drive home we came up with more crazy stuff to build. It will take about 2 years for that stuff to see the light of day.Now if we could only get paid for this stuff.

Now back to work here.Stay tuned

I need help with the rear fender stays for the coupe. Can some one take a photo of these and how wide the holes are?

The ones on the car are home made.Like the rest of the things I find, made badly! Thanks

Dave,

Here are a couple shots of the ones on my 38 Dodge coupe. They appear to be stock and only have one mounting bolt on each end. Let me know if you need any more info.
