Dave Mellor NJ
Back to that scrapyard today. This isn't a car junkyard, rather a scrap metal yard that gets cars brought in strictly for the metal. Anyway, here is a Cushman scooter in wasted condition but still bearing so many parts that nobody can ever have. There was a nameplate on the engine which reads:CUSHMAN HUSKY. Bore-3 Stroke-2 3/4 model 28M9 5 6 use a high grade motor oil above 32-F sae 30. below 32-F sae 40. CUSHMAN MOTOR WORKS,INC, LINCOLN,NEB. In fine print it reads 66-200,which I take to mean it's a 66 model. You can see the grapple in the background, the always arrogant operators love to smash the cars like tin cans.
