alsfarms
Teens Olds trucks were driven by a sun gear, like the hub you have shows. It is not Olds however. With this type of drive, it rules out big heavy chain drives. Some truck guys may have a better idea.Alan
1937hd45
May be from a Tourbensen rear axle. It had a gear reduction setup that allowed early trucks to move heavy loads. If you think the wheels are heavy it took four guys to lift the complete rear into a truck at Hershey.

Restorer32
Teens Internationals had the same setup though I don't remember them being quite this heavy.
JFranklin
My Huffman truck has the same set-up (cog drive) I think it is called. Does anyone know where I can see another Huffman truck to help me assemble my basket case?
Guest DeSoto Frank
I believe "Relay" trucks also used a spur-gear reduction like this.
