1910 Model 20 fuel strainer - Breeze

Hi- thanks, that's interesting, it is of different design than the strainer that I have. Mine is all brass, has a solid round top with inlet, outlet, and cast in arrow for direction of flow. Bowl fits under this round top, and is held in place by screwing in a drain valve on the bottom. It's an "inline" filer as opposed to the "under tank" filter shown. It may still make sense to put mine under the gas tank, if I can locate it where it's reachable for cleaning. And, of course, it's sorta pretty in a way, so hate to hide it too much! thanks for information.

Yes, that's pretty much it, with a few minor details different. Mine has a petcock instead of a hex nut on the bottom, so you can drain it. I see an advantage to putting it under the hood, as you could drain a little gas out, then put that gas in the priming cups. Neat catalog information, thanks! David Coco Winchester Va.
