Hello,

I am looking for a nice original 1939 coupe (Dodge, Desoto, Chrysler)

Original, stock condition, no street rod please.

Auxiliary seats would be great!

Please let me know,

Thanks!

Christophe

PS: 1940 Dodge or plymouth as well.

This was for sale at the Portland, Oregon swap meet in April....who knows? It may still be for sale or maybe if someone else got it, they may want to sell it. I REALLY wanted it, but no money and no room made up my mind for me.

There is a man who is a member of the Venice Florida Region who had a 1939 Chrysler New Yorker for sale about a year ago. I looked at it, and it was a nice car, needing only a few things. These are very rare collector cars. There is a very expensive one with sidemounts for sale in this month's Hemmings.

Hello Suzan,

Many thanks for your offer, but I would prefer a coupe. However, I keep in mind that Bill has some spare parts as well.

Take care,

Christophe

Thanks for the info Kaiser31, it is exactly the model I am looking for, even if this one looks in pretty bad condition... Do you remember if the interior was present/damaged?

Anyway, maybe I will try that number...

Thank you.

Take care,

Christophe

Yes they are rare... I did not see any 39' Chrysler coupe in Hemmings, this month... Only four doors...

There is one Desoto wich is in Canada.

Best regards,

Christophe

Hello Robert,

Thanks for your offer; unfortunately, 1938 bodies are pretty different than 1939 ones... Sorry.

Best regards,

I have a 1938 Dodge coupe (Canadian car) that runs. Very straight body, original interior, virtually all there, but needs restoration. I may sell due to other projects ahead of it. Let me know if you are interested.

Hello Jake,

Thanks for the offer; actually, 1939 and 1940 are the years I do prefer;

1938 bodies are too much different in style;

Sorry!

Anyway, thanks for letting me know,

Christophe

I have a 1938? Chrysler windsor coupe. It's in pretty rough shape but pretty much complete except for motor and trans. I can send some images if you like. Even if youre not interested I would appriciate some help figuring out what year it is.

Thanks Rick

Hello Rick,

I am pretty sure that your car is from 1950 or 1951. I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Christophe

I have a '41 plymouth bus. coupe for sale, an original, matching #'s car that is complete. I'm asking $18K for the car and it is located in Eastern, NC. I have some additional parts that I have accumulated and an overdrive transmission from Neil Riddle in Washington that will go with the car. I have the WPC builders card and additional documentation showing the two owners before me. Car has approx. 75,000 miles and has had all the brake work done to make her reliable and safe. Rear drums have been off the car to rebuild the rear wheel cylinders. Front wheel cyliders and master cylinder have been rebuilt. She is a weekly driver to shows and cruiseins in the area. She has won awards in the HPOF class in local shows. The car can be shown as is or is a perfect candidate for full restoration, everything is here and with documentation. A great 70 year old car.

Thanks for the offer, Brian. It seems to be a nice car, even if I do not see the interior shape.

As I just acquired a 1957 T-Bird, I am a little bit short now...:o

But I would consider a rare original 1939 desoto or Dodge coupe.

Cheers,

Christophe

Hi,

Thanks for the info. I apreciate.

Even if I just acquired a 1957 T-Bird (not the same toy!), and I am little bit short, I could be interested in.

Some pics would be welcome ;-)

Thanks!

Cheers,

Christophe
