Dandy Dave
I forgot that the Early 1928 Ford "A" had a multi-disk clutch. I believe you are right. It is Model A ford. All the A's that I pulled apart were single disk clutch. It seems to me that the Early A, was considered an AR. The things that jog the cobwebs from the memory.... Dandy Dave! Layden B
In reviewing my info it indicates that this clutch was used on about the first 500,000 cars up into Nov of 1928. That would be after introduction of the 1929 model year. No doubt about the fact that a lot of them were replaced with the single disc clutch during their service life.
