28 Chrysler
I am looking for any information (year, engine, etc.) and any photos.
john2dameron
About what period of time would this car have been built. I cannot find any such thing as a Type H and the closest thing I find to a 660 is a 1931 Flying Cloud, Model 15, 6-cylinder, 60 hp. Deleting the word "cylinder" and the p in hp would give you a 660 h but it seems a little hard to believe. If you have access to a collector car price guide published by Krause Publications or a copy of the Standard Catalog of American Cars 1805-1942 it will list all Reo cars. 28 Chrysler
The REO was one of my father's vehicles and I am not sure if it was a car or truck. In a maintenance book from the WWII era Reo Model 660, Type H, Serial number 7H 3847 X. In it he lists odometer readings and service. Seems like the major thing was to getting it ready for winter, drain fuel, remove battery, etc. Thanks
john2dameron
If it was a truck, I can probably find out. Check back here in a day or two.
