grill help

i just bought a 33 plymouth steel body street rod problem is i would like to put a grill in it and i dont think the grill shell is plymouth, can anyone help

the shell MAY be or may HAVE been before being reshaped, the insert is not OEM

Looks like it started out to be a 1931 Plymouth radiator shell. Originally would have had vertical louvers.

A better view would help, showing a bit more of the side profile.

At this point I'd almost agree that it could be the early short nose 33 Ply shell.

It could be a 1932 shell....they bow out on the bottom. 1933 is quite different. Here is a '33.

im dont want to dout you all, but click on the pic to blow it up, look how the bottom of the grill has the round to the bottom...do you all still think its a 33....im still not sure

I still think it's a modified 33 for three reasons;

I think I can see the very top center of your red car grille opening; it looks like it has upside down V right at the top center of the shell...like 33

The lower sides of the red shell are curved to match the 33 fender? or did they trim that curve to clear the frame parts?

The sides of the shell seem to be wider at the bottom compared to the top. Like 33
