Guest Vipa
Hey, bought this at a yard sale for 1$. I did some research on it, and i think its an air powered Car Horn. I know that i was made from 1906- 1908 by the Dragon Motor Co. I'm not really sure what the horn went on or how it works. Any info on it would be great, or even how much it's worth. Thanks ! Richard Lichtfel
It's a bulb horn that was used on just about every car before the electric horn. There is a brass flexible hose with a reed and rubber bulb on the end, by squeezing the bulb blows the horn. It looks to be in very good shape and is worth quite a bit more than $1. All the parts are available through Restoration Supply to restore it and make it work. I'm not sure what it is worth. Someone else may be able to answer that. Dandy Dave
If the reed is in it, and in working order, it will honk, if you blow though it. Neat find from the brass auto era. What is it worth? ebay will determine that. Dandy Dave!
