Tom Burtch
I'm trying to assist in identifying a collection of mostly NOS trim and door handles from about late 1930's to early 1960's. I think most of the parts are British, but I've identified several American pieces also.Hope someone can identify these handles by the unique shape. They are about six inches long and the ones with locks have keys marked WILMOT BRANDON on one side and UNION (brand name?) on the other side along with words Made in England.I also have several which are identical to the non-locking one shown but painted (military?) green, so they may be WWII eera? Tom Burtch
Here are the photos. Thought I could use images from my AACA album but they didn't seem to load - hope they show up this time.
Tom Burtch
In case someone knows military part codes, the handles painted army green have number 8F-660 hand written on the back in white lettering.
drwatson
Tom, You might do a web search for Wilmot Breeden key data to narrow your search. http://www.key-men.com Edited September 29, 2009 by drwatson (see edit history)
