Have Part Numbers...Need Their Application

I have two dimmer switches...one is a Standard DS40 unit. I have no idea what it fits. The only clue is a receipt in the box from 1935. The other is marked "For Chevrolet Cars" and has the number 363771 on the box. No manufacturer shown on the box or part. I'm not sure what year(s) it fits...anyone know?

Also have another, an Aampco U401. It's probably a universal fit...but from what time frame?

Any help is appreciated!

From my 1949 Parts book I think the 363771 was a superceeded number replaced with 1997008. There are several 363... numbers in that book. This was a part that did not change from 1929 - 1949 and maybe newer.
