Jim Rohn
I think that is a generic replacement air filter that was used to replace oil bath air cleaners 40's 50's is my guess

Larry Schramm
It is an air cleaner from a small garden tractor from the 70's. If the color was yellow, it would be from an International Harvester Cub Cadet tractor with a Kohler engine.
Dandy Dave
The Kohler Lawn mower air cleaners werer held on with 3 screws. Not with the style of clamp that is shown. I think it is an after market air cleaner that took the place on the oil bath air cleaners of the30's, 40's, and 50's. Dandy Dave!
Larry Schramm
The air cleaner is the same as on my Cub Cadet
Dandy Dave
What year, and model is your Cub Cadet Larry? It must be newer than the ones of the 60's, and 70's that I have worked on. The Kohler engines of that era were also used on John Deere, and Jacobsen, as well as others. I have had a lot of Kohlers apart and have never seen one that attaches with that that style of clamp. All were held on with screws. If yours is attached with that style of clamp I would like to see it because it will be a new one on me. Please post a photo. I'm not saying you are wrong, All I'm saying is it is different from the norm. Dandy Dave! Larry Schramm
I will eat some crow. The over all looks of the air cleaner looks like my cub cadet, except you are right Dave. The cub cadet air cleaner is held on with two screws and not the clamp like attachment in the pix above. Size is about the same.
