PLYMOUTH ? 1940 - 50s License Plate light Housing

Hello,

I just dig this out of a batch of odd parts that has been in my shed for years. It is 19 1/2 inches long, and it looks like came off the trunklid of a 1940's thru 1950s era US car.

The plastic lens of the license plate light is marked "PLYAH", so I suspect it is Plymouth.

Can anybody out there confirm this, and let me know what year?

Thanks,

Doug

Dear Dave,

Thank you for the fast response! Yes, it looks like the ones in your pictures.

Not much changed on US cars in 1950-51, probably due to the Korean War.

That 1950 fastback 2 door is in nice condition. Is it yours?

Sincerelyy,

Doug
