vergil
The points on my '16 DB are gone. I'm having a heck of a time locating points or an acceptable substitute. What works for Northeast doesn't mesh with Delco. Since these distributors were used on many makes of that era, I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction. There is no model number for this distributor, only patent dates of 1912,1914, 1915.PM or email vergil@ix.netcom.com. Thanks!
nickelroadster
I would check with Special interest autos or Ben McAdams in wheeling WV. Google these and they should get you where you want to go.
Mark Shaw
I picked up some of the little replacement button points at a swap meet some years ago. You might try buying a standard set of points, remove the contact buttons, and use them to replace your worn points....Or, try this: http://ohiocontact.com/ Edited August 11, 2009 by Mark Shaw (see edit history)

Guest kaycee
Usually you just slide the point button through the hole in the point arm and peen it like you would a rivet. I use to have a lot of these 'buttons', but can't find them anymore. You do'nt have to weld them in though. kaycee

Guest stude8
I looked up your application in my Gilfillan catalog # Ten 1917-1927 and many cars besides Dodge used your parts.Gilfillan #DD-11 = Screw contact point; DD-12 = Arm contact point; DD-16 = Rotor. They list 1918 Buick 4 cyl;1918-20 Buick 6 cyl;1920-23 Case models V, X, W1916 Cole with Delco Dist #51531918-19 Cunningham1917-22 Davis1916-22 Elcar1921-24 H.C.S.1917 Kissel1917-24 Meteorsame era Moon; Nash; Oakland1922-25 Packard with Delco Dist #5249With so many using the same parts that is why so few are still around.I think replacing the arm contact point is probably the easiest route or just plan a few long days at Hershey going through baby food jars of old contacts on all the tables.Stude8
