Dandy Dave
The one marked 27 is a bendix for a model T ford starter. The box of of valves and guides are Ford. From the model A era though the flat head era. Also the 9N, 2N, 8N Ford tractor were similar and the same as many of the V8 flat heads. Dandy Dave! Layden B
Model T Ford starter bendix mounts on a 1/2" shaft. I suspect this #27 is for a larger shaft.
