1942-48 chrysler starter solenoid WTB

Looking to purchase either a good solenoid or if needed the complete starter for a 1947 chrysler windsor with a flathead six, I called collectos auto supply and they did not have one but they said the part # is 957467, if that helps.:confused:was also told that 1942- 48 same.

i have the chrysler starter solined you want. it has been in storage over thirty years, i think it was new or rebuilt but now the paint is pealing and the rubber boot on the end is rotting. still has the tag some garage put on it saying chrysler 1942 to 1948 6 cylinder. also fits 8 cylinders. i will sell for 20.00 plus shipping from larry southwell 15000 minx road monroe, mich. 48161 it weighs six and a half pounds when boxed. no charge for packaging. thanks
