1937hd45
Thank you for another great photo. Looks like all American cars somewere in Europe. Are the tires oversized of is it just the photo angle?
Leif Holmberg
The two to the left looks like Buick Master 1924-1925 becuse of the licens plate in the middle of head lights, at list the second from left,Master models had this sun-shield(screen) as standard on their most expensive cars. nzcarnerd
If those are Buicks they are earlier than 1924. The 1924 Buicks had the new radiator shape that continued through the rest of the 1920s. They look more like 1920-22 models but the front guards(fenders) are the wrong shape. Buick ones were flat topped whereas these are more rounded. The two cars at the back are Packards - possibly early model sixes from about 1924.
keiser31
Not Packards.....Buicks.
nzcarnerd
Yes they are Buicks about 1924. I didn't read what Leif had written carefully enough. Those two on the right might be circa 1921 Buicks though but there is something not right about those front fenders. Tyres must have been a problem at the time of this photo as there is a real mix of sizes on these cars.
keiser31
They look like the aftermarket "balloon tires" to me.
Manuel
The wheels and tyres do look like they are larger than usual and the back 2 cars are Buicks. They all appear to be RHD and the first driver has a very dark coloured face.Which European countries had RHD in the 1920's?Manuel in Oz
