horn button

You have to remove the light, spark adv, throttle lever assy to get access to the 3 screws that hold the horn button bezel piece. That is if it is the same as Commander and President.

Attached is a photo of a 1928 Commander steering column center lever assy. To remove you disconnect all the bellcranks arms and light switch assy located at the bottom of the steering gear box. Disconnect the horn wire from harness, then loosen the tube shaft clamp at the gear box and remove lever assy and action tubes by pulling it out the top of the column.

If this is a roadster its easy, put the top down first. If it is a closed car then you probably will need to loosen the steering column dash board brace bolts and the bolts that hold the gear box to chassis to lower the column enough to get the 56" tube shaft out inside the car.
