padgett
Long answer has been here before, short answer is to remove the ashtray and every other trim piece, cover, console plate, panel applique, and vent between there and the vent on the left side of the instrument panel plus two under the armrest lid. Keep some baggies handy to sort all of the different kinds of screws (hex head and T-15 torx) & nuts. Have some epoxy handy for repair hidden cracks in plastic pieces and broken tabs.R&R can be done in under an hour but probably not the first time you do it. Above all, be gentle & do not force anything. Most of the difficulty is from the location of the two (one on each side) screws on each side of the CD player that make it necessary to remove the entire lower trim panel - do not try to bend around it or the surround will crack.
