drwatson
Are the bulbs 6 or 12 volt? A bus maybe?
jrbartlett
Take a look at late '60s and early '70s Ford pickups (there are several dozen on E-bay). They had aluminum trim at the bottom of their fenders, doors and beds that look identical to these pieces in terms of the four bright bars and three black inserts. Of course, I can't judge the size by the photos. It's possible that the lights were added by someone who felt that their truck needed side marker lights. drwatson
jrbartlett has a good point, this pic of a 71 Ford PU looks closest to your bars, but not a good enough match! The ends don't seem the same.As far as the lights being a owner modification, close inspection should reveal if metalwork is factory or amateur.
