platt-deutsch
Anybody Know if there is supposed to be springs under the radiator? Mine just had 2 castle head nuts that were very loose..
Guest oldodgeboys
I'm in the middle of a radiatorectomy right now on my 25 DB. There are no springs. It only has the mounting pads under the shell. It was an aftermarket radiator, so someone was in there at some point.

gboy
The factory mounted the radiator solid to the frame, no springs were used. A piece of thin rubber belting with a hole in the middle can be used as a shock asorber and spacer.
platt-deutsch
Thanks all.. I got it mounted and all looking good. If all goes well I should have first smoke tomrow since the overhaul. I added oil rings and that should help with the oil smoke..I also added pertronix electronic ignition. Does any one have a dead NE original coil I can purchase.. I plan to rewind it..Thanks
