Guest Johnpaul Ragusa
Well now that it's in pieces I guess I'm missing her so I found the photo of the day we met.
Guest imported_Thriller
Very nice. The photos don't make it look like it needed a restoration....

The top was horrible (it was a poorly done replacement) so I said i'll get a new top. Then it became that a new top would look terrible with a paint job that was cracking so it needed paint. Well then why do that and not re-chrome. Next thing you know the car is in pieces.

RDMSTER
I certainly understand and appreciate the term "mission creep" as it pertains to cars we love. My '39 81-c,a 1989 BCA Senior car,is currently in the midst of a restoration which started out as fixing some areas of bad paint. Best of luck, and may no significant discoveries be made in the process.
