Clincher
"Branham Automobile Reference Book" indicates Serial Numbers DB 1- and up to be 1930 Dodge Brothers Senior Six. 120" wheel-base, Six cylinder Bore and Stroke 3 3/8" x 4 1/2". H.P. 27.34. No mention of serial numbers starting with "DE".
Layden B
Just a thought but perhaps the DE is an export model ( the E being a clue) and like trucks may not be listed in most of the American domestic references.
stexch
According to "Serial # Book for US Cars" by Grace Brigham, the DE indicates a 1930 with 6 cylinders.
