Is it an early Cord?

I am 100% positive the car is a 1931 or 1932 Stutz DV-32 LeBaron convertible sedan. Several of these still exist, and given the good condition of it in the photo next to the 1940's coupe, I would think it still exists. You can see the DOHC engine in the photo with the hood sides off.

Good eye, and a neat piece you have. It is a really neat album with over 300 photos of a family living pretty good back in the 1920's thru the 40's. They were also very into their wood Chris Craft boats.

There was a 1930 Model M convertible sedan at the AK Miller auction, lot #6 to be exact but it was pulled at the last minute as a guy from Long Island had a claim on it & did end up with it. The bodies are the same except in 1931 they slanted the windshield.
