pmdolan
I think that the third picture is the car in "Also a Duesenberg"? I did not notice that the top was a different color.
K8096
I am 100% positive the car is a 1931 or 1932 Stutz DV-32 LeBaron convertible sedan. Several of these still exist, and given the good condition of it in the photo next to the 1940's coupe, I would think it still exists. You can see the DOHC engine in the photo with the hood sides off.
TG57Roadmaster
Interesting to note that the Stutz on top is sporting a Standard Oil Research Test Car license plate topper. Some really great cars in that album!TG
pmdolan
Good eye, and a neat piece you have. It is a really neat album with over 300 photos of a family living pretty good back in the 1920's thru the 40's. They were also very into their wood Chris Craft boats. K8096
Patrick, Would you consider making copies of the Stutz photos for publication in the Stutz Club newsletter? We're a non profit club for Stutz cars. Maybe people in the club can figure out where you car is now too. You can e mail me at jwgehring@hotmail.com Thanks! 1937hd45
Nice car! I think there was a mate to it in the A.K.Miller auction. I'll check my catalog when I get home. KEEP POSTING THOSE PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
K8096
There was a 1930 Model M convertible sedan at the AK Miller auction, lot #6 to be exact but it was pulled at the last minute as a guy from Long Island had a claim on it & did end up with it. The bodies are the same except in 1931 they slanted the windshield.
