pmdolan
I have a few cars in an album that I would like to know the years of. Can you help?
Guest aussie610
The bottom one is 20's Auburn (That line on the bonnet gives it away), I love what looks like the home made spinners on the hubcaps....not certain of the top one

pmdolan
Here is a shot of the top one with the hood off.
Ken
The top pic is a 1927 Kissel 8-75 "Goldbug" speedster. The additional pic confirms the fact it is fitted with a Lycoming 8 cylinder engine- although perched quite awkwardly in the chassis! The chassis has the rubber mounted springs and the WB is 132 inches- longer than the 6 cylinder and 8-65 models. The wheels are the Buffalo B5 wires, prior years were the Houk wires. The radiator has the off center Kissel badge. The tail light is typically thought to be on later 1927 cars. What year were these taken? Where is it now?????...... Ken
1937hd45
The bottom car does have the hood bead similar to an Auburn, but no other features, it looks a lot like a MERCER to me the body may or may not be a factory fitted item.
TG57Roadmaster
A quick glance at the Standard Catalog bears out 1937hd45's Mercer ID, circa '23-'25. Spot on from the grille, hood, running boards, etc. Likely that swoopy body is a custom.TG
pmdolan
The cars were in Chicago. The pics were taken between 1936 and 1942 I believe. I do not know if the cars still exist.
