A chevy a dodge or both

I was going to get pics of the frame but couldn't really take to many pics it was raining/sleeting and its suppose to snow tonight and tomorrow so I got what I could. I was told by a guy I know that my recently purchased 1929 Dodge was in fact a chevy frame and cowl and the rest maybe dodge. It was found in a field all together but I know it was worked on/butchered in the 60's. I put some of it together and the cut marks on the cowl match the body and door and it all seems to fit the frame perfect so I think it all goes together. So please tell me what you guys think it is because if it is a 29 dodge I know where a parts car is that the top is smashed I can get most everything I need for it but if it isn't I am going to need to find something else.

Thats good to hear? Looking at the 28 dodges it does look a lot like them but how close are they to a 29, can I use 29 parts on it?

I would not swear that what you have is a 29 Dodge, but it is definitely Dodge. Check out the pictures of a 1927 Dodge in the for sale section. I went and saw it in person last week. From what I gather , the mechanicals changed quite a bit from 27 to 29 but the body appears to have stayed the same. I am admittably saying this only from looking at pictures. Hopefully, someone that really knows Dodges will speak up and verify this.

I might want to take a look at it. I need some sheetmetal t go on the passenger side. If its close enough I can use and modify it to look how I want. As for the motor I think I might have located a 4 cyl out of a 27 or 28 dodge that a guy rodded out, got most of the powertrain he thinks just threw it to the side of the garage when he took it out.
