Is.....That........A VOLVO!!!!!!!

So, I was taking my '48 Cont. to the hand wash and there is a Jiffy Lube place next door, I pulled into the car wash, got some quarters and then an employee from the Jiffy Lube walked up to the car and said "My friends and I in the Jiffy Lube were wondering if that was a Volvo." so, I replied "Volvo never even came close to making anything this expensive, it is a 1948 Lincoln Continental" and the guy said "oh, well, we were sure it was a volvo" "no, it is a Lincoln" then I went on and told the guy about the car but, I could not believe it....A VOLVO! That's a new one! Have any of you had something like this happen?

no..here in Ohio...we dont have that problem..

But hey, at least they were *trying* to identify it. Must people have been so bored to death with jellybean cars that they don't even care anymore. Looks like a good learning opportunity IMHO.

I once had someone come up to me and ask if the woman with me was my girlfriend. I told him no - a girlfriend never came close to being this expense - this is my wife.
