Now what have I been telling ya'll? Now I want my 11 cars back. Ha ha Let's see what a black or yellow 5 speed will bring here at the one in Florida. Since I cannot get Rick to sacrifice his Baby, maybe I will do it. Kirby are you watching this? Is that ok? Jasper

There you go, if they would reveal the rarity and the performance of the 16 valve models and the relative ease of obtaining parts now, they should really do well. We just need to be sure the ones they see are some of the better ones. That will help all of our values on all of our cars. Now becomes the problem, before this happens how many do we need to be sure we have enough? Before the price spike? The few I have sold, I have at times wanted back. That is why I am terrified to sell 2 of my 16 valve models, when would I be able to get them back and at what price? I am thinking heavy on it though. I have 1 or 2 more I would like I am not allowed to buy anymore without selling one or two. Hey wait a minute, I have parts cars, if I sell one or two of those, then I would be ok. ha ha You can usually find a 16 valve models if you try real hard. The prices are still reasonable, in my opinion. Ebay seems to be heading north as far as prices go, which is nice to see. I don't know why, ha ha it is just nice to see. What day or night did the red TC go thru Barrett Jacksons? Jasper

I can just see their face when they discover that they bought a 4-5 thousand dollar car for that much.

Ebay prices are going up but the auctions are ending with no bids on ones that start high and low bids on those that just have a high buyitnow. Even the 1500 dollar opening bid got no action on the black one that needed paint, leather, lien sale title work, had 160,000 miles, lack of photos or info on the softtop and had been sitting for over 2 years. Sheesh! A LeBaron conv with those issues wouldn't even get $300.

I took a client to an antique auction once with a 40 to 50k early 1900's Stickley grandfather clock in it. He bid $323,000 on it, and did not get it. He and I went out to lunch after the bidding frenzy and I asked him if he had lost his everlovin mind!? He said, look you have to understand I do 1.5 million a day in my business and what I was bidding was about 2 hours of 1 of my days. So? I guess it is all relative. If a guy just bought a $500,000 muscle car at B J and his girlfriend or wife said I sure do like that little Red Maserati, he says no problem, I will just get that little cutie for you. You sweet thing you. Wheeeew! that was easy and for only $8,500 plus buyers premium. Could have been a lot worse if she had seen that 57 TBird with the cute portholes. ha ha I did notice some bigger prices on some TC's on ebay in the last week or so. Could it be called a trend?

Just my 2 cents, Jasper

I was wonderin when you would see this. It ain't done yet. Ha ha Tim said I would have to take the boost gauge off and I ain't doing that, no way. I may put stock pedal rubber on the pedals but I think the boost gauge is cool. Gotta have something out of the ordinary. ha ha.

My buddies Rick & Allan have got the beast running good, I just need to replace the shafts and she is about rock & roll ready. I am not letting it go unless there is another Black one to take it's place. I do believe that is taken care of, soooooo we will see. We still have the Yellow one too. That one will go 1st probably. And that is the rare one. 1 of 4 made in the 16 valve model with the Black interior & top from California. We will see. Jasper
