Guest stude8
I recently acquired a 1928 Studebaker Commander Big 6 Regal Victoria automobile. It is a well preserved mostly original vehicle but it has a Non-Studebaker attachment called "Anti Stall" on the instrument panel. The device is some kind of electric starting switch in "Series" with the factory mechanical foot starting switch on the floor. The data tag under the two push buttons installed on the dash panel says "Saves Lives" Model 10, Mt Vernon, NY.Does anyone have any printed literature on what this gimmick does or how it is supposed to be used? I have found out the hard way that if one of the switch's is pushed in the ignition circuit of the car is disabled. If nothing is touched on the Anti Stall the car starts and runs fine.Any help would be appreciated.
