Terry Bond
My son and I were talking about this rare Shelby Cobra Daytona coupe that was subject of an ownership dispute. It's a fascinating car-in-the-barn kind of story. Does anyone know where the story ends and what became of the car? Here is a link to one info source we found. http://thecarsource.com/shelby/cobra/daytona/csx2287.shtmlTerry
1937hd45
That was a highlight thread on the HAMB last week. It is safe & sound in a fine sports car collection in Philadelphia. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

nearchoclatetown
You guys need to get out of the garage more often. This was settled several years ago. Everyone claimed ownership, from the mother , boy friend, and I think the lawyer too. The guy in Philley paid several million for it and had a smart enough lawyer to keep it. Last I heard he was NOT going to restore/ruin it, but leave it just as he received it. It still bears scars and markings from racing, like the firing order or jet size, that is known to have been on the car by old photos.
