couple more questions about 88 model

does the glove box open? and can key-less entry be added with remote start? Oh and do you know where I can get a front licence plate braket.... thanks..........

the panel under the cassette player has a button labled ' glove box' push it to open. you can add remote entry, dunno about remote start, though.

Glove box does open, ignition must be on or in Acc.

It may be stuck, if you hit the button under the cassette deck

in rapid susession it should open.

Keyless can be added was done on my wife's '88.

Remote start can be added car is fuel injected.

Have to ke careful (see the schematic in the service manual) when adding a remote to an 88 since you must also disable the alarm (one more lead) - have had one for my 88 for several years but have not gotten around to installing.
