magnum440
Does anybody have any under the hood diagrams for the 65 401 wildcat? as i've got most of the parts missing and what is missing i don't know all i've got under the hood is half a 401 nailhead pistons showing no rad, coolant bottle nothing. So any pic's to what the engine bay should look like would be helpful thks ty
Guest imported_Thriller
Ty,Just as a bit of advice, this forum is for discussing / photos of our cars. There is a BCA Post-War Technical Forum that is probably where these questions belong. That being said, here's the underhood of a '66 Wildcat...401 4-bbl, so probably very similar. That isn't to imply that everything is correct in that engine bay.... This is a power steering, A/C car, so there may be some variation from what you should have. Philippe Racicot
My car lacks a/c so there are a few differences but here is what it looks like.It needs some detailing... My car is an early model and the windshield washer tank is located on the passenger side inner fender. Note that the 1965 air cleaner snorkel points on the driver side while the 1966 air cleaner snorkel points on the passenger side. Here's a 1965 with a/c. This one has the second type windshield washer tank and the modified a/c system with a POA valve (earlier models had a STV)Another one in sad shape with the cruise control... one with California emissions
