There was a '47 De Soto "Skyview" cab featured in Cars & Parts within the last 10-15 years... I'm pretty sure it lived in California...

Thanks very much for the lead. I believe that I have most all of the cars and parts issues going back to the late 70's. I'll start a search for it.

I'm still searching for that issue of C&P...

In the meantime, try doing a Google on "De Soto Taxicab"... I turned-up a '50 De Soto cab needing TLC, somewhere in the Chicago area...
