mopar380
There were 576 New Yorker convertibles built for 1961. The base price was $4592.00 Resources - for parts there are a lot of people in the WPC Club who would be able to supply parts and services for your car. I would recommend a membership. http://www.chryslerclub.org/join.htmFor upholstery, SMS Auto Fabrics in Portland OR can supply NOS cloth and vinyl and if they don't have it they will make it. http://smsautofabrics.com/ They can also reproduce door trim panels. YOu should join the Forward Look Discussion Forum as well as this one, which is for any "Forward Look" Mopar built from 1955-1961 http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/category-view.asp Hope this helps you some. zack
Mopar383 is correct. There was one in a yard close to me that I considered buying but didn't.The owner of the yard died last year and his son crushed it along with thousands of others.Included were over 100 convertibles as far back as 1941(buick or pontiac).Any way,I did manage to get a lot of parts from the N.yorker including the vin no. Pontiac59
So what could have been $1500-$2500 each from over 100 cars went to scrap for like $150 each? I have no problem selling complete rough convertibles especially Mopars, anywhere from $1500 to $3500 -
