R W Burgess
While visiting Don Garlits' museum in Ocala last week, I was snapping pictures right and left. Gloria caught up with me and said take a picture of this Crosley! I didn't pay much attention to it, but now I notice an extra engine on the stand in front. Sorry I didn't get more info on the car, as it was certainly posted. Way too much to look at in one day. Thanks Don!!!Wayne
Jim Bollman
Didn't realize Don Garlit had anything Crosley in his museum. Nice looking Super Sports. The engine out front is a military version of the Crosley engine. Notice the mag and shield ignition. The round pulley you see out in front of the radiator is a rope pull start. R W Burgess
Hi Jim, I stopped pulling "lawnmower" pulley belts a long time ago. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />As Bob/want 937 said earlier you can't see all of Garlits collection in one day, much less the 1/2 day we had. I was impressed with the condition of everything there. His antique cars sparkled with excellent paint. Well worth a trip to check it out. Thanks, Wayne
