Speaking of pictures Bob! I took this picture of this unusual Ford. I still haven't figured out the wheels, but how about this trunk! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Bob, My friend Rodger Woodrum took something like 200 photos before judging started. I will contact him and ask if he got a photo of all of the milk trucks coming in, since he mentioned how cool it was that they paraded in together. If he took one I will get it and post it for you.

I just noticed that someone put about 80 pictures in the wrong catagory(AACA Eastern "Divisional" Meet). <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

The big dumby finally corrected his mistake. It took "me" 2 hours! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

So I guess I should say.."Make sure you know where your pictures are going". <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Bob, there's a photo gallery with many pic........ <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

OK, I'm messing with you. This is the only other full body picture I got. Too little time, too many cars. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I've still got 200 more to put up. It's time consuming, for me anyway.

PS; I forgot to mention that I overheard the owner say he had the car imported from Italy. It looks a lot like a Ferrari to me.

Fran Shore sent me this picture. Not a show vehicle, but definitely cool, riding in the rain! Please read license plate. The registration plate looks like maybe a North Carolina tag??

Fran sent me this Library Site picture. Everything you needed with AACA on it was here.

Fran Shore's mystery pick up has shone up at the flea markets. Here's another view. Thanks, Bluesmobile!

Bill and I wandered past the Library tent and luckily for us Fran was there so we got to catch up with her. Bill had brought a repair manual with him for a Buick Skylark we used to own. None of the vendors were interested in it but Fran was more than happy to take it off his hands, and more importantly, out of his backpack. Thanks Fran, his back felt so much better after it was out of there. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I took a bunch of photos at Hershey and you can view them all here, just scroll down to the appropriate album:

I took a bunch more but my digital camera had a glitch and I lost about 250 photos, arrgh! I thought Hershey was much better than last year and I thought it was much nicer and felt like the older Hershey events with the show cars on the grass field. Baring rain I would hope that the show is on the grass again.

Hi, Wayne...no sorry needed.

Great photos you posted, not to mention the time.

The Divco folks (Bob & Patti Giles, Bob Wood, etc.), were tied up driving their trucks onto the field "in parade". Obviously, they had no one to take a picture.

Anyone who took photos of the parade would be greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah, that Plymouth was extra-cool--and it runs too--they passed us out on the highway when we were finding our way back to Hersheypark after the show. I know: "Big Deal passing a Volkswagen!

Here (attachment) is another unusual car I saw in the flea market (Green Field, I think, near the front of the Giant Center). Far as I can tell it's a 1958 Auto Union "1000-SP".

A little internet browsing showed a South African one apparently recently sold, 1958 model: http://www.dyna.co.za/cars/sale.htm ( way down near the bottom--and here's the detail image: http://www.dyna.co.za/cars/DKW_58_Auto_Union_1000SP_Red_sf1.jpg )--looks like the exact same car.

Ooops, of course I mean the Plymouth. Has the car a name ?

@ Steve : You may be interested in it that we own such an Auto Union ( or DKW called ) 1000 SP. Same model and as far as I can see the same color. It is a early model of the 1000 SP in your picture because it has the larger tail fins. The later models have more rounded tail fins. It was too futuristic for Germans in the 50s. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

If you want I can send a photo of our 1000 SP.

Greetings

Tom

Tom, I'd LOVE to see a photo of your 1000 SP some time!

I have to say, this one we saw at Hershey really was unique and memorable. I've never seen anything like it before, and have learned a lot already, from studying the internet and also consulting with some local German car enthusiast friends of mine.

Thank you again,

Steve Mierz

Since I've already highjacked this thread.... <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Thanks to Friartuck for the 100 "Flea" pictures I have to upload.

So, check out the "Hershey 2005 Flea Market" catagory in the Photo Gallery. My eyes almost fell out.

Gloria said, "No Wayne, you can't spend 2 more days in Hershey next year. You have nowhere to put the "junk" you already have!"

Junk! JUNK!

Women, they'll never understand. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
