Guest Dans 77 Limited
Something cool has just happened today. Filming has started on a new movie here in Pittsburgh called "Mysteries of Pittsburgh". Filming started today down in front of the William Penn hotel downtown. The movie is set in 1983 and the two cars used in the background on the opening day of filming were some unimportant yellow Ford horse and a certain 77 Buick very near & dear to my heart. I just hope it doesnt end up on the cutting room floor. As if that isnt cool enough they want my wifes 67 Skylark on the set tomorrow. Just imagine 2 Buicks, 1 movie, same family.Cool huh?. Ive got to admit , when I bought this car I liked it but I never thought it would draw much attention. But now Ive got two 3rd places at GM Carlisle,a 3rd place at a local BOP show. Two 2nd places at BCA regionals, a 1st place at GM Carlisle, and now a movie. Can you tell Im proud? . I know my wife sure is, she has only owned her Skylark since June.Never thought we could have this much fun with our Buicks.Dan
